This is a 75 gallon aquarium that I have had for a long time. It has mostly housed fish in the past, but now I'm going to transform it to planted. I will start with low light plants and as I upgrade my equipment I'll get higher light plants.

As I get the money I will upgrade the lighting, substrate, and get pressurized co2. For now I'm dosing flourish comp. twice a week, excel twice a week and flourish trace twice a week. I will switch to dry ferts when necessary.

Here are the pics:

Finished changing substrate, added a little java moss

Added another piece of driftwood from my 10 gallon and some big java ferns, more java moss, and 3 amazon swords from customdrum.

Rearranged a little and added some elodea from my 10 gallon.

Wow...What a difference!!! Niiiiice!!! When that fills out, it's going to be gorgeous! Never ceases to amaze me, how, even just changing the kind of substrate you choose, totally changes the entire look of the tank. Good job!:clap::clap:

Looks great! I especially like the overhead cat you installed -- very dynamic. ;)

Very nice!

went from fairly ugly (sorry) to absolutely stunning....

nice work
