I came home and fed the tank, didn't see the female, thought it was hiding.

SO i went on and later, i was watching tv and look over and saw one of my fish picking on a fish body.
I went over and it was my FEMALE GBR, i was so sad.

I couldn't understand why it died, his eyes were all poke out. It was hollow.
I had a pair of kribs, betta, gournami, and a male gbr along wit some guppies and endlers.

the kribs and betta was there before and they had no aggression problems except some nips here and there.
The gournami was new so i suspect it was him. I notice he started showing a lot of aggression and everywhere he go, the other fish try to avoid him.
So I have separate him for now. Probably try to return him and get another female gbr.
So sad.............................
I hope its the gournami.

i'm not sure but you have a lot of compatibility issues in your tank, so it could have been any number of problems.

I could have just died and the other fish ate the eyes. It happens when a fish passes along. GBRs can be delicate so a sudden death is not that unusual.
Yep, we can't seem to keep them either......

it's not the betta with kribs that's a problem, it's that you can't keep bettas with male guppies and you can't keep bettas and gouramis together. probably caused too much stress and someone got aggressive with the ram.

my betta was always in there in the guppies.
i think it was the gourami that was causing the problem.

obviously i can't attest to what's going on in someone else's tank. i can say my betta wants/has nothing to do with my male guppies and doesn't even think about going near them in even a playful harming manner. if she was a he... probably... but she's not.

I had a Goarami that use to pick only the left eyes out of all my plateys for some reason. when the lights where on he was cool, once the lights where off he was jack the ripper.

yea he is separate now.
The tank seen to be harmonious again.
Everyone is going everywhere, not just to one side.
