I am not an angelfish pro, but I believe that some of the eggs could get eaten. The remaining ones will hatch and some of the fry will get eaten off, but the parents will defend them. Some little fry might make it to grow up.Most likely not. Good thing is they lay eggs fairly often from what I have read. If you want to breed them, and keep the fry, that is a whole other story.
I would say just skip the divider and let aquarium nature take its course.
