Awww I love rats! I have 3 dumbos. They are the sweetest little guys. Love to go with me to get the mail. Totally content just sitting in the pocket of my jacket or on my shoulder.

quick ?... what do you use to bathe them shampoo wise? I haven't been able to find a good one.

I heard kitten shampoo or chinchilla powder.

I've been using puppy shampoo that's tearless. They get dust baths once a week but they still need to be thoroughly bathed every now and then because they do get pretty stinky. lol

I have two males, tell me about it.

They are such wusses when it comes to bath's. They scream, fight, jump, run away just like little kids.

My rats truely are my children.

My rattie doesnt like baths much either... I found a critter shampoo that is made for ratties, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc (small fuzzies) and it smells like baby powder. She hates the actual bath part, but loves to be wrapped up in a towel afterwords. she stays there even after shes dry! I need to get pics of her soon...

Very cool bro, wish I had room for a rat or two but with two cats I don't think it will be posible any time soon.
