The evolution of my planted tank since May

here's my tank in May. My first attempt at live plants. Check out the ultra dorky saltwater background. kinda scary now when I look back at it. lol.

a few months later... new black background, mostly new plants. Getting better at the live plants. At the time, thought it was sooo beautiful!

October 2009 Took out the plants that I didn't like or didn't grow well. Kept the ones I liked. Started dosing excel and flourish the month before.

These were taken yesterday. I ordered some more plants (thanks, MsJinkzed and Customdrum!) I think it looks so nice. Amazing how much the plants have grown since I started using Excel. The Water sprite has been trimmed twice already, it grows so fast!

(stupid camera flash!!) lol.

Very very nice, but you're right that first pic with the saltwater background hurts the eyes.
