I hate to do this, but I think I'm going to sell my proven breeding pair of German Super Blue Rams. I LOVE them and they are my pets, but they deserve more attention and time than I can give them right now. They will make wonderful parents and I know that they can raise fry if given the chance. I've had them for 8 months and they have laid about 7 times. The last time, they let them hatch to wigglers and tended to them 2 more days before eating them. Previously, they had eaten the eggs after 24 hours. I'd rather not ship them and I can meet pretty much anywhere in WA (besides east of Wenatchee) and Portland would be as far as I'll go south. I'm pretty sure the male has longfin and superblue genes because his dorsla spikes reach his tail when he lays them down and when he hides his black marks he looks like an electric blue on his body. I paid $37 for a pair of unproven, adolescent rams via aquabid and that weren't nearly as nice or big as these. I'd like to get $45 for my pair and if you make it $50, I'll throw in over 2 lbs of food that they scarf down including golden pears in different microns that are used to feed the fry. I know it sounds like a lot, but just look at the pics. I didn't alter them in any way. I also have 6 neon tetras, 6 mystery snails (2 pink, 2 purple, and 2 blue) along with several Maylasian trumpet snails that I'll give you too. I have all of those guys in a 29 gallon along with some regular val and a sword plant. You can have them if you want them. If you are interested in the entire 29 set up, including the stand, tank, light, heater, sand, fish, snails, plants, and food, I want $275.

I will ship these rams ONLY if you pay for overnight express shipping. Keep in mind though that these are my only pair and I can't be replace them.

The pictures speak for themselves. Feel free to ask me ANY questions via pm. : )

These first pics are of the second time they laid:

These are from when they laid last month:

Feel free to check out my feed back too. I'm not trying to make $ off of these guys. I just want to cover cost and find them a home where they can reach their full potential and get the attention they deserve.

Man those are nice. I just bought a pair of juveniles today. I hope their color turns out as vibrant. I'm no where near you, or else I might consider returning mine and picking up yours. Anyhow, good luck with the sale.

Thanks. Believe it or not, the pics really don't do them justice. You only get their pretty deep hues without the flash and you lose it with the flash but see the bright blue. It makes me really sad to sell them, but with my fiance in Iraq, my dad going through chemo, and a saltwater tank, I just don't have time to breed the rams and I feel sorry for them that I can't help them raise their babies and give them all the tools and means necessary.

Well doing the right thing isn't always the easy thing to do...

I would be interested in them if you would consider shipping them USPS Priority, as I really dont want to spring for overnight. If you change your mind, let me know.
