Mafia 58-

Don't the mafia teams try an distance themselves by votes, or sly comments about the others?

Where is the accountability now?

True, but we won't know until Rich is gone. Certainly no one would come to Rich's rescues as evidenced by the voting today and I don't think that would change if Kash was right there with Rich.

There is none, but at the very least we get a mafia and I think have exposed enough other people to pick up after that.

So, the lack of accountability is not a valid argument against a run-off.

What are the merits of a landslide?

I think ogre spelled out the potential merits of a run-off in his post. He's better at words than I am.

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally comfortable with stringing Rich up tonight. I think it's the right choice. I'm talking about the principle now.

Hi guys sorry. I've been gone. I just am not having time to play right now.

I've seen two questions:

1) The thing for MC. Annie quoted a post in which MC said that he followed Dawg's logic or words to that effect. That's it, that was the whole thing.

2) The thing against Kash. I'm basing my plan only on the liklihood of one or the other being mafia. I still haven't caught up in the thread (yes, it's worse than skimming). So, I only had the two headlines to go with. Everyone has voted rich and who am I to argue?

3) Annie asked a question way back when and I think it was about us not getting any information about the lynching. If everyone votes one way (like now), we don't get any information. If there is a split vote, then people must vote one or the other and we get a lot more useful information to apply later. For example.

I retract my vote to lynch MC and vote to lynch Rich.

Now, has everyone but rich voted for him? Great. If he is mafia (and I'm guessing he is at this point), then we got rid of a mafia. Have we learned anything else? No.

Look back at the vampire game. The one night we ended up with a split vote on two players broke the game wide open and the vamps lost. I'm trying to recreate that so we get the info we need on voting patterns.

OK, I'm done.

I see two questions too Ogre:

#1: Which posts did I make that you're referring to in both cases here. I didn't make either of the posts you're alluding to, and I DARE you to quote either of them if I did.

#2: Are you suggesting we run an almost known innocent against an almost known non communicating mafium in an effort to flush out the communicating mafia???

I suggest running you against Rich. JohnLarson is right, you will fold with your name in bold.

I retract my vote for Rich and vote to lynch Ogre.

This is where my vote stays until he answers my questions.

But Ogre's point about us learning from keeping the votes even is just as un-valid (or whatever the word is) hence the fact that we might as well have a run-off given that more people are seemingly confident in voting Rich over Kashta.

Dang, MC. I'm starting to wonder what it takes to get a straight answer out of you.
Same question asked a second time by another player... but did you answer it? Nope.. you dodged it completely.

So please explain this for me...

Since you choose to believe the headline which says I'm mafia, does this mean you believe Rich is innocent based on the opposing team's headline?

If you do.. then just say so. If you don't.. please tell us why.
Well after all the discussion today I believe rich is scum the headlines make a lot more sense to me now...pretty much all the fingers point to that. Not sure if he is CI or not but everyone has definately built a case against him.....no he is pretty much stone quiet.

I vote to lynch Rich

1,2,3 we don't learn till night fall, so we sit on our hands and stop thinking for 24 more hours. You didn't vote Rich until he was a dead man, so don't wash your hand so quickly. Your vote made it 5-1, at 4-1 it looks like a sure thing, there are only 2 of you left. Why not cut your losses and distance yourself.

Why do you think you killed the conversation? You took credit for it. I'm trying to keep it alive.

But we aren't sitting on our hands, the conversation is ongoing even though all the votes are in, your arguement is negated. I'm not trying to take credit for pointing out Rich is scum the Journalist did that for us. I do not throw my votes out quickly except on Day 1. Yes votes can be changed but votes also give us more information than anything else in this game so I don't place them without thought. Obviously the Mafia are voting for Rich, they have to! That's my point, voting Kash did nothing because no one believes she is Mafia. If you had a solid case to present against someone else I might consider it, but I'm not seeing it. We KNOW either Kash or Rich are Mafia. Is it not better to vote for someone we have HARD evidence on than someone we only have suspicion of? I don't believe I am the only one who thinks this way.

I commented that I killed the conversation because after I posted there were no posts for many minutes whereas before they were quickly popping up. The melon question is a conversation starter, will you answer it?

You're hiding today. I've pulled a post that shows your link to scum, however superficial it may be. What have you done to help the town?

Am I hiding, I have expounded upon my thoughts over and over again until I am white in the cyber face, I can only answer a question so many ways. I find it VERY interesting that you try and turn this against me. So what Dawg voted for me, is this the first time a Mafia has voted for an Innocent? Dear Bala someone call the press its amazing!!1

Annie...

#295: MC agrees with Dawgs logic.

#351: You quote it.

I admit, I have absolutely no idea how that particular post indicates that you are scum. I wish Ogre would actually quote the posts and explain.

Maybe you didn't see my question.

What have you done to help the town?

I know it's subtle.
