Think about it, Zaffy. If you were on the communicating innocent team, do you think for a moment that you'd suggest the townie journalist speak up to reveal who they are? As a non-communicating innocent, would you then make that same suggestion? In both cases... no.
It's the mafia side who wants to know who that player is. And if we've now eliminated a place for you on the innocent side, where do you think that puts you after that post... hmm?

Call it just a feeling, or I am just a sheep, but I actually moved TRS up a notch on the innocent meter because of this post. I would expect if he were mafium he would at least know when nightfall is. He is now a 6. 10 is innocent. I'm a 10.
I think it's a good idea for everyone to make a complete list of remaining players and rank them 1- 10.
This is an idea ZS suggested in one of the earliest mafia games, correct me if I'm wrong if it wasn't your idea. That will give us lots of data after nightfall especially in this format. That being said, I'm gonna work on my list.

Look at the numbers.
the game started with 7 players on each side, plus the hobo.
We've seen the hobo die.
We've seen 2 confirmed mafia die.
We've seen 1 confirmed innocent die.
The town is ahead 6 to 5. The mafia gets no hit tonight. If the CI's knew a name to trust, that gives them better odds to hit a real mafia. Best case scenario if the CI knew an innocent name, and could give that. Then the CI's would have 5 mafia to choose from, and 2 innocents to choose from. Those are much better odds than otherwise. But, the rules were amended because Ice said it's game breaking here, so it's a moot point.
