36 bow or 40 breeder?

which would u get for an oscar tell he grows to about 10 inches then a 75 becoming his perminint home i have him in a 20 tell dec but ill get the tank b4 Xmas so ya hes with like 10 to 15 juvi con and one of them becoming his perminent tankmaate.. so ur choice what would u do? hes less then 2 inches or might even be 2 inches

Always better to go by footprint over volume.

40B (36"x18"x16") all the way....larger footprints are best in most cases.

You will pay as much for a 40 breeder as a stock 55 in most cases...

Why spend the money on a smaller tank just to upgrade to a 75 later?

If you looked hard enough you'll find a used 75 or 55 on CL or something.

in my area, a brand new 40 breeder is $109

a 55g is something like 120. its almost the same.
