The fact that you say "I'm game" comes off as you are willing to join with others in voting Rich if there's no other option (of course), hence why I said it sounded like a subtle push.

Because it's not random anymore. No matter how you look at it, you just named Rich as a potential place to put your vote. You could also argue that Rich really isn't all that random seeing as he's been the only person identified as a common mafia suspect (however jokingly it was).

Say your vote, in theory, was random...if I were to come out and say, "unless I find a solid suspect, I will vote for so-and-so," how is that not suspicious? I don't see a random vote as being premeditated in any form...it's one thing to throw out a joke vote early or one late in the day because you have to.

My first vote was a complete joke because of some of my skimming mistakes last game and the other post was to get a clearer picture of what your reasoning was. You play it off as random, when it really isn't at all.

Pretty much your opinion and your welcome to it. The bolded line is a pretty well used statement especially on Day 1.

But I don't really see how you come to the conclusion that my saying I'd vote that way if nothing else is more concrete as a subtle push. I don't see how its any different then you voting me as a joke. Is that not a subtle push even if made in jest? If others jumped on after you would you then claim it was a trap?

My opinion which I also am welcome to have is that you are trying to hard to get me lynched.But I applaud the plan, you know the longer I last in the game the harder it is to lynch me and the more of your team that dies at my hands.

Not once did I say it reinforced my suspicion of you...I wasn't even in the first place. So no, it's not a way to get you lynched. I saw it as a possible push for Rich (ie. I'm game, how about you?) without placing the vote and waiting to see what comes of it first.

It's a little different than a purely random vote in that who is going to jump on the train in agreement? (I agree with your random vote and I vote to lynch XXX? Not likely.) In this case there was some sort of logic anyone could have grasped on to.

I'm not at all saying this was your intention and I could be barking up the wrong tree entirely...I'm trying to explain how I got to MY conclusion after asking how you got to YOUR conclusion. It looks as though fundamentally we disagree with how exactly to define a random vote, so without getting into a semantic battle there isn't much more to argue about.
