Update

Sad to report i found one dead male Callochromis yesterday.. my female is back in shape and i have a new sand pit in the back where the male is flashing for her attention so i would believe my female Callochromis may be holding again soon, also i have Comp eggs my yellow male Comp is guarding his females shell with her in it.

sweet. i didnt know that you had breeding comps. how old/big are they?

They are finally a few years old my female is around 3" and my male is like 3 to 4" but here about a month ago they started to do thier little dancing and shimmy ritual and now my male is attacking anything that comes around the conch shell that i believe she is inside with eggs havent seen any fry.. at least i hope she does..

Hey austin said to report but i lost all of my Callochromis except one male and i believe he is the reason why they are all dead mean little fish..

Sorry about your male Callochromis, Pitt. But congrats about the breeding Comps!

Sorry to hear about your Callochromis Pitt. Congrats on the breeding comps - that is cool! I am envious.

My comps laid they're first batch of eggs and I think I screwed it up by pulling the shell too soon. I think, I will be getting a breeding group of wc calvus black congo white pearl soon (3m & 5f). They should be arriving in the US on the 11th :)

Got any more pics of your comps?
