I like the scrub pine trees that grow along the coasts of Long Island. They always remind me of the seemingly endless summers of my youth.
So an educated guess and looking at profiles of the new players leads me to believe the evils are

My second plan of action is to just follow Reds lead. The guy has an uncanny way of picking scum out of the crowd.
hhhmmm, fav Christmas evergreen: Holly - yuck! too prickly....Mistletoe? nice sentiment but it is a fungus that grows on and kills Mesquite trees......My choice would be a nice Frazer Fir....no wait a minute - Hemlocks are gorgeous with their delicate needles - Yup! Hemlock it is!

The game isn't even warm yet and he's throwing out lay-low prevention. The last few games have shown you can't let anyone slide by (as if we needed the reminder).
On another note I'm enjoying some nice sunny weather after two weeks of continuous rain. I'd be just as happy in that east coast blizzard though, to be honest.
Since I got called out in the sign-up thread: What is everyone's favorite Christmas Evergreen? I'm going to go with holly because its red and green and pokey.
is there something going on with the "favorite evergreen=" thing that the rest of us dont know about? it seems weird that three players would post the same exact phrase with different plants...perhaps the evel team hasn't found one another like in the last "cold" themed game?
If you want to split needles, Mistletoe isn't a fungus, it's a full on vascular plant. It is a parasitic plant though.
We have nicely decorated Palm trees around here on Christmas.
