Christmas Comes Early

Santa's brown wheeled sleigh, a.k.a UPS truck, delivered my new controller today, a Reef Keeper Lite (RKL). There is no way I am waiting until Christmas Morning to open it. :Angel:

I hope it is as easy to set-up as the claim.

RKL my pC4 just mailfunctioned! the good thing about DA is they are very nice, if you call them they will walk you through everything or just email you specific instructions on how to do it!

I figured it out after a while so its not that hard! let me know if ya need help as well

I'm liking the RKL, although I'm not doing much with it at the moment. Be sure to update all the firmware on the main unit and modules.

There was a typed insert which stated "All modules included in the box are equipped with firmware 1.11+."

I can only assume I am all-set to set it up without the need for firmware, right?

Yes all come with the newest firmware i believe is 1.03

the PC4 is the 4 outlet strip you plug your out puts into and your temp probe

OK now I am confused. You state the latest is 1.03, but my RKL supposedly came with 1.11+ installed? 1.11 comes after 1.03, right? Ugh:duh:

haha when you turned it on did it say ReefKeeper 1.03? just trying flipping it from reset to off and look at the monitor while it starts back up!

The head unit has a different firmware version number than the modules at the moment. The head unit is currently 1.03 and the modules are at least 1.11 (depending on the module). To see what version is the most current for the head unit and each module, here's a link to a thread on the Digital Aquatics website that gets updated with that info.
