anyone every use these? i found a good deal on them and wanted to make sure it was not to "good".

The newer ones with individual reflectors are pretty good, just check before, and the new boxes usually state that feature too.

I've heard the old ones are noisy. Be sure the ballast and lights work (they're expensive.

I'm planning on picking up the 48" 4 bulb Nova Extreme SLR T-5 Fixture 120watts in about 12 days, I cant wait to get it for my 55 gallon planted tank.
