LBF, my posting is not an indictment of your abilities but take a hard look at what you wrote to understand my point.

:worthy: bubbles!
finally someone who says what i'm trying to say but with so much more grace and eloquence.

lbf, you seriously need to listen to her. she's trying to help and it looks like she's even doing some research on your behalf.

Bubbles, what a compassionate and accurate post! LBF, Bubbles makes some really sound points. I think that most of us on the thread wish the very best for you.

I think most of us are trying to convince you not to "jump from the frying pan into the fire" by jumping on the first offer you get to get out. We hope that you will get some outside support to do the things that you want to do. It's always better to take your time and think through things, and really, understanding your money situation is VERY important so that you won't be taken advantage of.

YES they said they would allow fishtanks!!!! so a few Qs

should i get a 2nd floor or a first floor?
if i get the 2nd floor they told me that heat rises so the room will stay warmer but i dont kno if i should with my tanks..
if i get the first floor then i can have my tanks without worrying about the floor falling..

and ill only have 3 tanks total,
80 gallon
20 gallon
and one more either a 55 gallon or another 20 or 29 gallon ifi go with the 55 it will be a convict community tank or if i go with the 29 that will be for a pair of convicts and the 20 as the fry tank or a community tank. the 80 will be for my red devil.. only tank will haveheater on them is the 80. i may just leave one or two cons in the 80 tho...

so what u all think?

A 80 gallon tank filled to the top is 640 pounds
A 55 gallon tank filled to the top is 440 pounds
A 29 gallon tank filled to the top is 232 pounds
A 20 gallon tank filled to the top is 160 pounds

Many apartments are no longer allowing smoking as well. Where my son used to live states no smoking for any reason and if caught you will be evicted and charged a professional cleaning service fee. I choked when I heard that because at that time I was still a heavy smoker when he asked me to smoke outside (he did) and I thought it was because of the kids. I don't smoke in our house when the kids/grandkids are here as it is. Have a massive by-pass like I had and it sure kills your desire to smoke! In fact it makes you think "was smoking really worth the price I am paying???"

Short answer - NO
Long answer - NFW!

I really like this story, BTW what does NFW stand for?

well theres noway id do that. i WANT to live on my own i WANT to make it in the big pond with the big fish i WANT to do this i DONT LIKE living here AT all.. me and my fish is all i need in the real world poss a dog later on but not anytime soon

Nice analogy with the fish

And Bubbles hit the nail on the head

well i may be staying with granny ( despite me and my aunt fighting everyday ) tell a 1 bedroom opens up. so i will find out mon or tues if im even able to get an appt. if i am then im gunna wait tell a 1 bedroom opens up if im not then im stuck here i guess either way im gunna start focusing on my tank * been negleting it latly ) gunna get out of the cichlid world for awhile and into lil cichlids like apisto rams kribs and start a community tank.. plus my granny said she wants me to wait tell a one bedroom opens up so i dont have to pay an extra 100 for an extra bedroom im not using * my fish would be using it but i can still have them in my 1 bedroom apt in my bedroom *

Have you checked the website for the SSI or where ever the place is that give you your money? They may need to be more involved with you as far as living on your own especially if the reason you are on SSI, is because of your eyesight and because you have a learning disability.... all this hope and stuff that you might be doing might be against their rules. What if you lost this SSI money because of it?

i dont have to check in with the government ( lifenet dont make my choices for me they just handle my money thats all ) i dont have to check in with anyone all i have to do is just tell lifenet that i moved and tell them where so they can do my bills for me. my eyesight aint bad its just my musscle in my eyelids ( was born with no muscle at all i have human tissue )

think realisticly dude, I left home to live with my sister, and I had to work to support myself. ITs real hard when your only 14 looking for a job, and its still hard at 16 with a big resume. you realy need to read what your typing.
just tough it out.
think about going back to school, I really wish i could go back and finish 9th grade and going through to 12th.
and needing nothing but your fish?
mate, living on your own with your fish, that'll just twist your head, like you'll have nothing to talk to freinds at work, you can develope anxiety disorders, depression.
really take a hard look at what you've written.
I've bin through this all, still suffer from severe depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. call a help line, or somthing, cos dude this isn't the place
