Mafia 61: The Gunslinger - Game Thread

Decided to look at Ag next. This one was easy. The first thing I noticed was on the "who posted" page. If you look at the time stamps on the posts, for each real day the game has been on, there's two posts in quick succession (most within 10 minutes). Even newbs (I might say especially newbs), join the game to play. I doubt Ag joined the game with the intent of looking at it a few minutes a day and letting it go from there. This implies (to me) that Ag is getting his fun elsewhere... such as a scummy message board outside the thread. Now on to the content... this won't take long...

You've been viewing the thread for quite some time and yet you say you forgot the game started. Seems to me that you are a mafia member that was trying to hide by not posting. And once you noticed that people were considering you as a mafia suspect, you decided to start posting before too many people became suspicious.

Unsure on all four of these, but here is my current list:

Razz
Annie
Lab
Z

I did not place them in any specific order. Razz is at the top of my list for being mafia though.

Well mafia sports fans, I think we've seen a new record set in the "say as little as possible and whatever you do don't commit yourself" event. I don't know what to think here. Either we've got a total newb, or a mafia. Dang, that feeling is back.

I have to lean Ag mafia.

Razz is still top suspect.

Hasn't made much of a splash (a ripple really) and has done a really good job of avoiding playing the game almost altogether. Again, I cannot lean mafia based on low posting but if it were not for the fact that I would not trust Agass as slinger, I would be tempted (if I had the role) to have my shot in the dark directed at him. He's always been a low poster but I would hate to see him pull it off again if mafia.

Here's where I am lost.

I have certain suspects that have done things I found to be at least somewhat scummy (Kash, Dawg, Razz, TRS(?)) yet there is then a group of people who's lack of doing or saying anything at all has gotten my attention (Z, Agass(?)).

Are you sure this isn't a 50/50 format Mad?

As it stands now, my mafia suspects are thus:

Ag
Kash
TRS
Zsand
Jpap

But there are only 2 slots left. I've been following a hunch on Z all game. Though it's still strong, I'm just not sure. There's cause for suspicion there, but nothing to push it over the top one way or another. So he moves down a little.

I feel most confident in Ag being scum, but am hesitant to think about a shot on him... just in case he is innocent. No offense Ag, but I don't think of you as a good candidate for GS.

TRS... I haven't played with him enough to know what he's like in a non-PR. He was pretty quiet last game, but he was Santa. It seems off, but again, I can't be sure.

In my mind, Kash is the next best shot. I think there's a good possibility she's evil (we saw her dark side come out with the series of revenge comments). And on the off chance that she's innocent, she'll be a good GS. I've moved off Jpap a little as stated before because he did come out "anti-annie" pretty early and didn't let that ball drop. And because he and I seem to be on a similar wavelength. I'm not dropping him from the list because he is a good player and has fooled me before.

Needless to say, I'm leaning the rest of the town innocent at this point. I may not make it back on before you take your next shot Ice. I really want to see you go 4 for 4 here, dude! :thumbsup:

So Pap, Do you think I'm reading too much into the time stamps? That's the part that sticks out to me the most as being scummy. I'd be on the fence if it weren't for that, but it just seems so odd and contrived... two posts every twenty four hours(ish). Enough to not get UD, enough to mostly fly under the radar, and absolutely no content. To me it's almost the perfect storm of scum tells.

Granted... it's been a long night and I may be over reacting...

Concerning Dawg...if either Kash or Z are mafia he's almost automatically an innocent. If neither are mafia he would likely shoot back to one of my top suspects.
