UV Filter question

Ok I just bought a UV filter and was wondering about the air valve on top.

This thing blasts bubbles all over my tank and I was wondering how some of you set yours up???

This is the filter I have and the thingy on top lets air into the water flow that comes out.

Any help would be great I'm not sure if I really need the bubbles. :help2:

you dont need the bubbles but you can use it to diffuse co2 or you can just connect it to a short airline that you can tie off tight if it doesnt come with some kind of plug

Kinda figured that..... Thanks Doc !! :thumbsup:

I have the little hose tied in a knot right now. There are some bubbles still but the fish seem to like it.
