These are wonderful specimens. I was lucky enough to get a couple of these (long and short fin) and they are healthy and beautiful! Bump for amazing fish at a great price!

Are these the same as the adults you have in your pics thread? If so, I want one! I'd been thinking about getting one, your pics were amazing.

If not, got pics of the adults? Not sure how my temps are gonna be next week tho.

How big are they?

They are between 1.5" and 2". Some are from a September spawn and some are from a spawn at the end of October. I had to stop shipping at the end of November due to the cold temperatures across the country.

What length do they grow too? short fin included...

They are the smallest of the bristlenoses. And they are the slowest growing of all the bristlenoses. Their bodies average about 2.5" and another 2.5" of tail fin. A couple of my adult females are actually smaller than that. You can see in the first pic below that my SAE is larger than the full grown plecos. In the second picture is the dad of these babies. Compare his size to the black cory who is not yet a fulll grown adult cory. And those are small ember tetras in the pics. I have no adult short fins, the short fin babies are from long fin parents. They are not quite as long because they don't have the fins. And the short fins tend to be a bit chubbier throughout the body.

Thanks noodles! You'll have to post pics up sometime.

These are the babies from the adults posted in the photo thread. Pic number 2 is the dad of all of these. And the moms are in pic 3. This is my breeding trio in my 55G, he breeds with both of them only a day apart and none of the 3 parents are related to each other. Let me have your zip code and I'll take a look at the projected weather for your area next week.

Gorgeous fish! Sent ya a PM.

My pleco is in the mail! woohoo!

One question- figured I'd ask here in case anyone else wants to know. Since he/she'll be pretty small- how aggressive are they about eating? Will he be able to compete with my cories and kuhlis in my 36 gallon? I could grow him out for a while in my 10 gallon if needed. Just want to make sure he gets to eat, my cories are friggin pigs (and they're aeneus and lasers, so they're close to 3")!
