Last night I looked in my daughters tank and saw tons of little white things that looked like tiny string all over the glass. After looking at them while trying to figure out what the heck it was, I realized they were moving. The tank has a couple zebra danios in it, along with a Briggs and ramshorns. I thought that danios ate their eggs almost immediately and they have a light colored sand substrate, so if there were eggs they couldnt be seen. One of the danios is much rounder than the others, but its still really round right now too, so thats no help unless they dont lay all their eggs at once. I have added new plants recently, maybe the eggs came from them. Whatever they are, the danios are making a meal of them so I dont imagine they will ever make it to a point where I could tell what they are.
