First time RCS mommy!

I got my first (15ish) red cherry shrimp almost two months ago, and loved them instantly. They are in my planted 10hex with 6 cardinal tetras. I had a couple berried ones, and have been keeping watch on them, but have seen no baby shrimp... Until today!

I can see one, tiny little shrimp hanging out on my floating hornwort happily foraging. I hope more of them evaded the greedy cardinals, but I'm so excited to see even this one baby! Shrimp are great

Thanks!! I'm excited, but they hide so well I can't get any idea of how many of them survived, but I'm hopeful. Once I have a good colony going I would definitely be up for sharing, but I need to wait a little longer first

Happy happy joy joy 1x1! Wish I could join you in grandberryhood but I fear my entire RCS stock--all four of the little buggers--are female.

once I can figure out what I have to plausibly offer in trade I really, really want to hit the marketplace for 2-3 males. My little girls are (sob) growing up fast and need boyfriends.
