Most people will not sell you just one. Being endangered, everyone who keeps these fish should try to breed them. That said, try Saul (unungy) at pleco fanatics. He usually has a decent supply.
 
go on the sister forum mfk, there is a guy on there bring in wilds again. how he is doing it I don't know but I think they are slowly starting to import them. I do believe the dam is finished being built and now the fish are thriving once again. but don't take my word for it.

If somebody wants to sell me two for a decent price I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Best thread every, I always wanted one as well. Just be wary on the look a like of the true zebra pleco.. The Copycat L number escapes my memory right now...

Maybe ask Mgamer where he got his, seeing he had a thread with pictures.

I have run across the copycat "yellow" zebra already...Thanks for the heads up though. From what I understand he only has the one and it came as a windfall.
 
most breeders don't sell adults they sell juvies and usually in groups of 5 (to ensure both sexes for breeding). That is the tricky part.
