ACE::: frag question

I have some turbsnails that like to knock things around so I thought that if I stuck them with the post thru the eggcrate that the turbos wouldn't knock them off and land face down in the sand. I have noticed before that some of the corals didn't like being face down in the sand.
 
Your right, some corals can actually die in less than a day if knocked upside down in the sand. I have had turbos knock frags off of eggcrate just as easily though. Unless you have a tall rim around the eggcrate to make sure they don't get knocked into the sand it probably wouldn't matter much.
 
I just superglue mine to small rocks that I can move if I need to.
The rep from zoanuts.com told me they grow fastest if mounted to a rock that is kinda cap shaped if you follow, not exactly sure why.

Total would come out to about $85 for all those frags around me. Those are all very common frags/corals. Still, for your location and with added shipping cost $160 is a fair value for those and everything but the Stylophora are easy corals.

#3 is a green tip hammer i have 1 that has three heads. just wanted to get that out there
 
The best combination I've used is both superglue and epoxy. Put glue on the dry epoxy surface, then dry the base of the coral and place it on the glue. Then glue the bottom of the epoxy and press it onto the rock, spreading the epoxy enough to grab onto nooks and crannies (since the epoxy isn't really that adhesive). Of course, this only works for stony corals.
