Ok soooo I'm always about 98% sure my bigger crestie is a female, but some days I look at her and she's a little bulbous around the hemipenile bulge so I think, WTF? Anyway, I just thought I'd share a pic so maybe one of you can tell me I'm crazy since she looks very svelte in this pic :grinno:

That's definitely a female crested. How old is she? Here's a pic of my male crested. He sure isn't small in the hemipenile bulge department, lol.

thank you! you don't know how many times I've thought I was going crazy because I've seen countless male cresties (working in a pet store) and I knew she was a she... but then I'd second-guess myself.

VF, I'm not sure how old she is. I got her at a reptile show last summer she was less than 1.5" snout to vent. I pulled a total noob moment and didn't ask how old she was then. she's about 3.5" snout to vent now. she's beautimous. I'll try to get a good pic of her if I can get her to stay still for a minute!

Nice little buckskin crestie!

Nice little buckskin crestie!

it's crazy confusing all the morph and color names they've come up with! I cannot keep track of them, but I'm glad to know that's what she is. on a little rant, do they have to have so many morph names?! I want a red crestie next but I'm sure it's called "flame" or "fire" or "satan's spawn" :evil_lol: I mean seriously!

Well if you looking to buy a red or flame crestie I should have some available for sale in a few months. I just hatched my first baby last week. One of my females is a Red and the other is a Flame Harleqin.

Here's a pic of my trio.
