Again...I'm not voting FF only for the JL posts...read my posts. If you're asking was that one post my only reason for connecting JL and FF the answer is yes. The problem is JL agrees that what FF interpreted from his post is not what he was getting at and FF has not confirmed that your interpretation is correct (unless I missed it). So it is really just you trying to defend FF's post for some reason.

I'm not saying that you are Dawg, but I'm still interested in why you think JL and FF are connected. I'm glad that it is just that one post, since I'm pretty sure it never came from a chatroom as you want to believe.

JL never disagreed with what FF interpreted but he did ask for someone to put it into context. If he hasn't already, please read my post (#145) JL.

And FF did in fact respond to what I said in that post.

You said the mafia will be spreading the votes out. So what they won't be doing is trying to start a train on anyone. Since they wouldn't want a train on anyone on their team, it would have to be someone innocent. I'm pretty sure that's what FF is getting at when he said that you said "that the mafia wont try to stat a train on someone they know is innocent." It was sort of a back assword way of saying what you said.

Finally, someone can reason out my reasoning lol.:lol2:

I highly doubt 5 scum will vote on the same person day 1. It just doesn't make sense.

The bold red statement above has me confused. With your train of thought right now why would Tex following FF be noob confusion to you? I thought I was scum and FF was in the clear. Why is following someone you believe to be innocent suddenly explained as noob confusion?

I don't highly doubt it, not with this game format, not if they can get an innocent lynched without looking scummy.

So you start a vote on XX (right now it's FF), then Dag follows. Say an innocent votes for XX, then maybe a third scum votes XX. Two more innocents are buying your argument and vote XX. All those last two scum need to do is vote and the deal is sealed. I don't think it would out all the scum as innocents would have to be voting for your scheme. It could be 4 innocents who vote XX, doesn't have to be all 5 scum. I do not believe in this format though, that scum would vote for other scum unless they absolutely had to to stay alive since it's twilight once a majority is reached and there is no time to take back votes before nightfall.

I am leaning FF as innocent. I do not believe beyond a doubt that he is innocent. You are twisting my words. What I referred to as noob confusion was Tex getting called out and a prod from Mad, showing up, then voting for a person who was popular to vote for at the time. Does that not seem like something a confused noob would do?

the thing is, I think that once something is mentioned that seems to make some sort of sense, the mafia are going to take it and highlight it just to take whoever they can down... while I think it is important to highlight on certain things, I think the mafia is looking for small opportunities to grab hold of and run... that's all.

This is what I think has happened with Dawg aggressively going after FF. An "easy" opportunity presented itself and he took advantage. He probably didn't think so many would resist.

I'm not quite sure...I also have Dag and Tex on my suspect list so I would like to hear more from them before making a decision. I'd probably tack on FF since he still has posted some unsettling things and really hasn't helped in clarifying anything.

But if I would have to choose now it would be Dawg. Voting along side FF and Tex is really iffy though.

Lab, how was Texs vote for Dawg the popular vote? When he made the vote it was FF 2 Dawg 2 Tex 1 and JL 1.

You also said that Tex was following FF. Tex actually voted 1st then FF followed him on to Dawg.

The 72 hours is up at 6 PM EST Sunday, thats like 18 hrs from now. This day would last forever if there wasn't a time limit.

well, if we are talking Dawg and FF, I would be more inclined to vote FF because of the very fact of his posting frenzie, and now with it seeming to stop.... which seems inconsistant. Is it because the heat is on? I don't know but the whole thing about him posting so crazy and some folks excusing that behavior as this being his style bothers me...

then Lab has me a bit concerned too. She has reminded us at least twice that there are 2 communicating teams here, a good side and a bad side... I am thinking she is doing this in the case that anyone starts suspecting her... for what reason, maybe because she is seemingly giving FF and Tex a pass on this game because she has been "hard on newbies in the past". To give anyone a pass on this game is ludicrous. Yes, we do have to think and consider that there is a good side and a bad side and we do have to play a little smarter but come on... why the repeat reminder....

and also on Kash... where has she really been this game? Wiz has been here, but not Kash. She's been here 3 times.... one to say how this game is different, an interesting format, then to ask where Tex has been (ironically), and finally, to post on the rules of all the players in the game. However, I saw this long Kashta type post explaining her behavior in the last game on the last game's thread. This makes no sense, not for Kash...

Then there is Razz and Annie... where have either of them been... I know there's been some kind of party but come on, we've been at this for 3 days... in RL time anyway...

My bad, he followed JL not FF. But it's still looking like noob following to me. And I just went back and looked at the posts from the time when Tex voted. Yes, FF had two votes but Dag had just voted for FF prior to Tex's post. There is a 7 minute difference in the time stamp, it's very possible that Tex did not see Dag's vote because he was coming up with his post at that time. Also, he may have just looked at Mad's current vote count which showed Dawg having the most votes at that time. I don't know, I hope Tex will actually show up and clarify why he voted for Dawg.

Well from what little Mafia ability I have I've scanned the posts. And I've seen two extremes.

JL- seems determined to defend himself from anything, constantly talking like hes an innocent that doesn't want to die so early,

DD- He seems to come and go. Posting very "deep" things and then dissapearing again like he wants to make his point but doesn't want to say something stupid that would reveal his role.

He says he sees two extremes, not two suspects. He did not make a suspect list. From what I can discern, Dawg seemed scummiest (and I still feel he voted for whomever had the most votes). Again, Tex, please participate and share why you voted Dawg.

I'm repeating the reminder for those who may be saying a communicator=evil scum. Generally that is a correct thought, in this game it is not, that is why I've brought it up. Don't want any skimmers to lose sight of that fact.

The passes for FF and Tex are temporary since I feel there are better suspects at this point in the game. I will revoke them at any time when I feel something scummy about them has been presented. So far, I haven't seen anything yet that makes me want to revoke them. You may feel it's ridiculous to give them the benefit of the doubt but at this point I don't. Difference in opinion I guess.
