$1 petsmart sale tetras & silver $ ! compatible withd discus?

well, I am at 2nd petsmart right now cuz I love silver $, 1st store had poor specimens, this one has some decent babes.

But I presume no good with discus cuz of temp. tolerance?
but I should learn not to add anymore to discus tank!

also why cardinals (all sold out) better with discus & not neons?

I plan to buy 8 neons & 5 silver $ & set up 3rd tank & not mix with discus or angels (since angels have eating & white poop issues & discus have settled into a healthy mode)

anyway, ready to buy but by virtue of setting up new tank it will be like QT anyway.

but if u can answer my discus compatibility Q?'s thks all.
 
wow! just saw sign it's a buck for small & medium silver $'s !! since ilike babes that's what I'm buying but u folks can get bigger!
 
Well, Silver Dollars are too shy from my experience I currently have two. Also, when feeding time comes the SD's are darters. They will almost always beat Discus to the food.

but have to admit my discus are quite quick themselves, only shy when 1st light goes on. mine are voracious eaters so I think mine will hold their own, tho agree silver $ are pretty dang qwik!
 
well, I bought 5 baby silve $ & 8 baby neons! all in their own QT 10g tank which will end up being their home...
