annie, y r u lurking?

I was "lurking" for several reasons:

#1. Most times I stay logged in even when I am away from the computer, or when the kids have taken it over.

#2. I leave my status set to visible while I'm "lurking", and wait to see if someone will try to use that fact to implicate me in some way or another.

#3. I was reading the thread again, particularily posts made by other players in reference to you.

Why do you ask?

Here Lab asks if FF is trying to sens signals to a communicating team (scum mainly).



Here FF says that she can't assume he's not already communicating. The investigation part sort of makes sense, but it's FF logic. If he's innocent then he should also hope that the CIs invest him so he can join...it makes even more sense since he claims to not do well when alone.



Here Lab questions the investigation part.



Now FF wants both teams to investigate him, which implies that he is not communicating. Contradicts the whole thing he told Lab about not assuming he's not already on a team, but I think FF was just trying to be confusing.

Asking to be investigated is always a red flag...trying to show off that you have nothing to hide is the opposite of what an innocent should do...you should prove through your posting that you are to be trusted.



Here DD asks FF is he is trying to imply innocence.



OK, I guess this makes sense in terms of FF logic. But again this claim of innocence is rather frightening.



You gave yourself away? Not really. You've been trying to get it out almost from the start that you're a noncomm. innocent.



Here Lab says its only more obvious that he's not on a team.



FF counters, again, saying she cannot assume he isn't already part of a team. I don't see any other way of interpreting this post...and of course, he's already implied that he is noncommunicating otherwise he wouldn't ask to be investigated.



Here Lab asks about the RC.



FF responds saying he is RCing...as a CI



Quickly retracts that, but still insisting that he is innocent. Odd, then, that he has twice questioned Lab for assuming he is not communicating when now he is RCing as a noncommunicating innocent.

Also, Labs post was a one sentence question so what part did you not read? I understand that this is FF, but honestly, her question was direct and didn't need much comprehension. It's hard to believe that FF mistook communicating for noncommunicating but that's not really the point.



Now the confusion starts...I don't buy it.

Ive been confused most of the game. and the only diff between NC and C in a 3 letters NON.

I think the whole 3rd vote thing is a scum sign is just plain :bs:. Why does it matter if I was third, or if I'd waited til later? FF got totally OMGUSy voting for me when I started questioning why he would ask scum to investigate him. Why did my questioning freak him out? I can't explain why Dag or DD didn't freak him out, maybe my questions were hitting home and scared him.

Did you miss the last game, the one you modded? You're suggesting we ignore him and let him float along, even with a good chance he's scum? That's some scummy suggestion there JL.

I was ready to move on from FF, but he surely has stimulated some interesting conversations. I am especially interested in those who are defending him or who are saying we should ignore him.

I voted for you b4 you started to question me. You got OMGUSy not me.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm not saying FF is innocent and never have. I've explained why I think the way I do numerous times. FF has taken care of himself if he is mafia and in the process made the town tunnel visioned to himself and not looking at others. Even the players who don't want to vote FF for whatever reason are so caught up in answering posts to why not they don't have time to look at anyone else. Even if a player chooses someone else at least we're talking about other suspects and not just FF.

Fair enough. Still doesn't get rid of the fact that you can just as easily vote FF and look for other players at the same time though, does it?

If you think someone is scum, then you vote for them in hope that they are lynched over the other suspects. It's that simple Ice...in the 40-50 some odd games you have played this has rarely changed, if ever. You've yet to show any indication of having a better suspect. A vote is not set in stone either and it does not mean you have to stop looking for suspects.

Usually you don't like trains Jpap whats different this game. Do you think anyone on that train might be mafia hoping to look good if FF is mafia.

No I don't have a better suspect as of now. 2 games ago I outed the entire innocent team thinking they were mafia. Last game I PMed JL to see if I was right and had the entire Secret Society chosen as RROs so forgive me if I'm a bit gun shy and would rather be more sure by asking questions and reading responses.

I vote to lynch lab. for jumping on me so soon in the game and even after i tried (and failed) to show why i am not evil. It would really suck for the team that has Lab on it, even if that team is the good one, cause she will now be a suspect when i die.

FF, how is this not OMGUSsy? You voted lab for going after you. And I'm 100% sure she had been questioning you at this point.

So did you get confused with your PM you received from Dawg? FF, you've now played enough games that I'm not buying the "I'm confused" bs anymore. You know very well what's going on, you're not stupid. You said scummy things, I called you on them, you voted for me. That is OMGUS. If I'd voted for you immediately after you voted for me, that would be OMGUSy as well. The fact of the matter is, I waited and thought about the scumminess of your posts. When I decided I was comfortable voting for you due to your posts and numerous retractions of what you'd said previously I then voted. Had nothing to do with your vote on me.
