Mafia #67 - 50/50 -- The Play

If FF shows scum, voting for him will not clear anyone totally, though it would make me trust some a bit more than others. But Dag voting for him means absolutely nothing since it was literally a random vote.

That was totally not a random vote. It was a revenge vote! However I am happy I placed it after seeing how FF has acted so far this game.

It's day 1, Paps. How much of a committment do you want? Personally, I think anyone with too strong a committment on day 1 is more suspect than those who admit to not knowing.

What have we learned -

If FF comes up communicating mafia?

If FF comes up communicating innocent?

If FF comes up mafia?

If FF comes up innocent?

If FF comes up SB?

1. His team isn't playing like a team. If he was on a team they would have told him to take a 12 hour break from posting anything.

2. ditto and the innocents are in trouble

3. Get to look at who was defending him and asking people to keep him around longer.

4. Hell has frozen over.

5. Voting early saves.

 I was thinking along similar lines myself.

Yes, it's D1. You have such high expectations for learning something from the lynch but cannot commit to suspects. I guess the D1 excuse is a one way street.

Last game Lab was also an IW who KNEW that Noods was scum. To expect game play to stay the same doesn't make any sense unless you think that Lab is an IW in this game also. It's funny you question Lab's ability to think about all the possibilities when you yourself didn't.

lol lab had already answered this but i was still catching up on reading

Not expectations so much as possibilities. But potato pototo I guess...

This is one of the points I was trying (unsuccessfully) to make last night. If FF gets lynched we learn nothing at this point. JMO.

Are you saying that obtaining information from a lynch is more important than lynching scum?

Whose lynch do you feel would provide you with the most information, and why?

I'm saying that any information we can gather helps the town. We learned last game (at least I did) that lynching scum sometimes robs the town of possible info. I'm just trying to be cautious. Place your vote where you like.

I don't know.
