Automatic Feeder

I am looking for suggestions regarding Automatic feeders for a couple different size tanks. I need one for a 55g and a 20g. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Btw, it's for african cichlid tanks (Pellet food).

I used this one for years and was very please with it. I holds a good amout of food. The clear food container you see on the end extends 2/3rds of the way up into the feeder.

simple, feed twice a day or once, adjust amount, 2 aa batts, easy.

for the 55 i'd go with the eheim. i love mine.

the 20 might be a little more difficult because they seem to overfeed on smaller tanks. i still use the penn plax daily double on my smaller tank though. it's very simple in design. sometimes the little tabs break off but unless you break all 3 it performs the same.

i took my daily double back to the store. very disapointed with its design. aloud moisture to go into food and would clog system. that means no food for fish. :yuck:

Humidity is one issue with ant auto feder Ive tried which caused clogging/fungus/mold of food. Try raising few inches above the lid thus minimizing humidity accumulation on food.
