I vote to eject DD

DD has been going rather hard at trying to make a case out of Jpap's few posts where he was trying to be funny and just have fun. It seems off to me that DD can't see Jpap was just having fun. Making an issue out of this makes me think that DD is either protecting someone who has a few votes currently or DD trying the steer the game in a direction she wants. Either way I don't think that it is very likely that DD is just a colonist. I think it might be possible that Annie is a COLON-ist man i love the puns this format has opened up

What really stands out to me are the last minute pile-ons which may have prevented Dag, ILM, or JL from being lynched . ILM is way to quiet for how excited he was about the game, someone told him to shut up. Was jpap's early joke vote on Bio a distancing move?

Because I thought I had figured out a scum. I said I didn't think she was a crew member or another innocent primary role. Since she wasn't getting very much backing in her suspicions about Jpap I figured she wasn't a crew member otherwise they would have chimed in. On the other hand had she been mafia I don't think that other mafia would of played along with her suspicions this early in the game and outed themselves. My worst case scenario therefore was that she would end up being a colonist. Best case being that I was correct and that she was scum. Obviously I was wrong.

Aside from the fact that my mind never really changed about her up until she was ejected and shown to be the detective; why would I change my vote when it appeared that she wasn't going to be ejected? The final vote for her came exactly at 8:00.

If by last minute you mean 3 hours before nightfall sure. At least I waited for something to appear suspect and gave a reason for my vote aside from "he said balls"

It's really funny, because while I was thinking DD had a PR due to her aggressive play I most certainly did not think she was scummy. Dag, if you don't mind, please refresh my memory...did you play the last two mafia games? You did, didn't you...and DD was scum in both games. Guess what, she also sat back the entire time and pretend bush kicked. How can you have missed that? Do you really think she would have changed up her style as scum when her previous play worked so well for her? :headshake2:

The tense of your post is all wrong. A person who thought DD was a PR, Crew or Rebel would not have said "I really didn't think..." That's indicating that at the time you had previously thought she was something more than a colonist. A person who is genuinely having the feeling would say "I can't believe XXX was...."

You don't have to change your vote to save someone from ejection. You can change it when you think a situation changes.

Actually that is/was (please let me know what tense word policeman zaffy) part of what I was considering. Calling someone out for joking around some seems to me to be fake bush kicking. The fact that she wasn't getting support increased my suspicion. I do find it interesting that you adapted her style of laying back for day 1 LR. If you need to lay back this round I can make it easy for you to vote again. Balls - there you have it you can just repeat you reason to vote for me.

The situation hadn't changed until the last second vote by Bio which put DD in the airlock. And the use of "didn't" is proper because I wrote that after DD was gone and after I found out that she was the detective. To use the word "can't" in my response would imply that I do not accept what I read and that I am disputing the fact that DD was the detective.
