Fish Sanctuary

Update #10
Been awhile, and finally have some new rescues. Nothing really exciting, just about 13 Endlers and a Betta. Not really sure why the original owner needed to get rid of them, just think that she didn't want them anymore. She came over she gave me the bag with the fish and said, "I wouldn't put them with anything, because the colony as been slowly dieing, and I don't know why." as I look at the bag with DARK brown water. Wanted to say something, but didn't...:rant2: Just smiled and thanked her for the supplies she donated. :)They are now in the 35-Gallon, day 2, and only lost 1 male so far.

Thank you, and it is. I hate when people have fish in bad water conditions, and still can't figure out why they keep losing them.

Now On Face Book
I made a Face Book fan page for *Fish Sanctuary*. I will post videos and other pictures on this page of the rescues, etc. Hopefully we can start to get some fans. :)

And as to what is going on currently, we are setting up the basement to move some tanks down there, and get more tanks for rescues. We will hopefully be picking up 7 donation tanks (Sizes unkown) soon, along with two Oscar rescues. We also had another rescue dropped off today. Just a Comet Goldfish, nothing special, but a rescue non-the-less. ;)
Pics later.

Update #11
Have a bunch of new rescues from last Friday. Two 8" Oscars (Red, and Albino Tiger) and a bunch of Guppys. (15+) Lots of donations as well. The owner needed a larger home for the Oscars, as she had them in a 20-Gallon, and to add to that she was moving. On top of that, she was moving, and she didn't want to take the fish with her all the way to Florida. Great person, very nice, and even had a rescue herself that involved dogs and birds.
Also have been working on the basement project, where we will hopefully be moving some of the tanks. Custom built tank stand that holds two 10's and a 55-Gallon. (Will have four total) Outlets have also been put in, and plumbing will be next. And hopefully soon after, we will start our 200-Gallon+ indoor pond for large rescues. ;)
Pics of the rescues and the progress so far in the basement. (Nothing special, but something)

Those are a couple of monsters! The fish-room looks like it's off to a good start!

Thanks, and I'll have more pictures of the "fish-room" as new things are added. Plumbing is next, hopefully we can start that by tomorrow.;)

Wow! I'm impressed. Kudo's to you and all you do! It's great the adults in your house are so supportive!
