my first impressions of ff is that he's someone that the mafia would want around to act as a distraction. I remember in the past that this has worked very well for teams to leave in someone who acts very suspiciously, and gets votes, but never push for their lynch. so I agree that if ff does get lynched that those who rile him up so to say should be scrutinized for doing so and not voting him. guilty as charged here but its so hard to read what he says and not respond since its like a puzzle :irked:

How exactly does that equate to him insinuating him and JL are on a team and if that is the thought we votes on JL? Isn't he more a threat as scum then FF? If you're sure this statement was scummy the votes should be on his so called team mate and not FF. If you're not sure that FF is evil then you shouldn't be voting him IMO.

How is that contradictory? I am afraid you need to dust off your dictionary. In both statements you pulled, I mention the ability to change a vote, and the fact that I didn't want to change my vote.

Ok, this is interesting, yesterday Ice made his statement about vet vs newb.

No one called him on it other than to say that it might be true but, we weren't willing to risk it.

Today, we have three jumping on him for it. LR, Kashta, and bio.

Let me ask the three of you this, do you really think scum would volunteer to be lynched?

Think about it, it is day one and we never have much to go on in day one.

We historically end up lynching townies for that reason.

These three votes have caused me to think maybe we have a female scum team this time around.

The scum have an advantage as they know already who is innocent. Now suppose, (and I don't intend for this to be a defense of anyone I am just trying to put it out there for thought because I don't know either.) that FF is innocent as he claims.

The scum are willing to let him be lynched as it is another innocent gone. Ice makes his statement, and after a day of discussion in the scum den they decide that they can use that statement to lynch a more formidable foe than what is already on the chopping block and not look scummy doing it.

I may have made a target of myself with this theory but so be it. I want to get it out there and give them a chance to respond. Meanwhile I will think on it and if I see reason to I will move my vote.

I've been asking Ice about that statement since he made it. I generally don't immediately vote, I like to think about things and wanted to hear more from him, and what others thought, about his idea. He is talented enough to play these sort of mind games as scum. The whole reverse psychology thing..."let me throw it out there that I'm willing to sacrifice myself for the town and then they'll think I'm innocent and won't vote for me. Surely a scum player would never suggest such a thing..."

I guess what I am getting at is I love his enthusiasm for the game.

I think that in his enthusiasm he gets over excited and has a hard time slowing down and pulling his thoughts together, as a result his posts always look scummy.

LR on the other hand, was twisting his words to get him lynched but in this game, she is asking everyone else their thoughts before voting Ice.

FF seeing a more experienced player asking that way tried to emulate that kind of posting style.

I agree, his enthusiasm for the game is great. I'm not sure if he's scummy so I don't want to lynch him over being excited. Don't you think if I were scum I'd jump on the easy lynch of FF? I'm certainly not leaning him innocent but I don't want to make the mistake I made in that game you mentioned again. And if you remember, I was a communicating innocent that game.

exactly what he would want us to think if he's scum...and it seems you've already fallen for it. i would think ice of all people could pull something like this off. kashta already outlined the scenarios, rather in depth I might add.

Im not saying that i completely think Ices little charade is a scum tactic but i have to consider it. especially since he somehow thinks hes better to the town dead than alive.

This is a lot of what I'm thinking, but I find it to be the scummiest thing to go on so far for day 1. FF may be scum, he may be pulling a FF. Ice is playing mind games with the town, not something a townie should do.
