JL, after reading Kashta's posts, and seeing that you conveniently if not expertly sidestepped answering her questions, how do you feel now that it looks like bio could also be in the running for lynching?

You stated you would like an Ice/FF race, does it make you nervous that bio has been climbing with votes on her as well?

Dawg, While I can agree with you voting for someone you think to be scummy, I did the same, with night approaching are you comfortable with leaving yours as a lone vote?

Actually I would ask this of all the players with a lone vote out there. Are any of you willing, with night approaching and three players with multiple votes, to make it a race?

Or do you all feel more comfortable with your "safe" votes?

I don't consider my vote a "safe" vote. And, I for one feel comfortable with my vote being on a scummy person....

Also, lets say that FF is lynched and was innocent and becomes a good spirit, well the evils get a hit and that person will be an innocent and they will join the good spirits also.

So FF will not be alone, if he is innocent.

Why in the world would Ice sacrifice himself for FF? For the good of the town for some investigations?

You will save yourself by voting Ice.

was this your plan all along? do you know that they are both innocent and found an easier way to get Ice lynched?

*pant, pant, pant!* I almost forgot that nightfall was at 7:00 instead of 9;00.....reading to catch up really quick, it looks like a close race between FF, Bio and Ice. Not sure of the exact numbers.....I am beginning to second guess myself (as usual!) & Ice is moving down my list little by little. Could be very stupid of me but what else is new, right? I have never played with Bio before but even tho she is a noob, she is no dummy - so not sure what to think of her posts/lack of input except for lol cats.....
FF seems to have stepped up his game quite a bit and I would like to give him the benefit of believing that he truly is improving; BUT this does not make me feel he is innocent......
not having the time to spend in the game over the past couple of days has been a disadvantage for me......

need to read over the past few pages again and see if I should move my vote and where to....

From the few games I have played, it has been brought to my attention by veteran players that a lone vote is often considered a "safe" vote.

What are your thoughts on the other three?

I am not saying JL is innocent as I have asked a few questions of him, but what are your thoughts on Bio, Ice or FF?

I am sorry but maybe I am just dense because I don't have a dictionary handy, explain to me how lolcats is beneficial to the town or the game for that matter.

I would like to retract my vote for Ice, and vote to lynch ILM. If you don't have time to play these games, don't sign up. Even the other low posters have at lease posted SOMETHING constructive.
I am sorry about your dog, but so far, in the two games you've played, you've always had an excuse to not post.

I never said that every post of mine was constructive either. Unlike you, I am not jumping down every open throat I see.
Also, the lolcats are, in general, relevant to what I am saying or thinking at the time. If I am suspicious of something, I post a suspicious lolcat. If I am laughing, I post a laughing lolcat.
If they HONESTLY bother you that much, I will cease and desist. However, lolcats are my attempt to keep the game somewhat lighter toned.
You are REALLY putting a LOT of work into throwing darts at everyone else. Something you would like to tell us?

something just came to mind - Labby typically goes after someone with guns blazing and then digs a hole she cant get out of, then gets lynched in the process. This game she started out as usual but then when attention was on her she backed off and basically disappeared. Is she playing it safe and hiding/biting her tongue? Has she learned to keep quiet?...Nah!!! I think she may be laying low as the scum team cannot afford to lose anyone. I am tempted to move my vote there but it would do no good based on the current vote count.

Do you think it is odd that it is was FF that first suggested that it would be bad for the town to have him do the investigations?

Did I want to get into a battle of wits with FF? No. It is like shooting an unarmed man or getting into a butt-kicking contest with a one legged man. Was FF an easy target? Sure he is, he is his own worst enemy. The evils will want someone like FF around to create khaos.

I absolutely love this post! Rather than answer Kashta's questions, you reply with questions.

Are you sure you aren't a politician? What a great way to sidestep and avoid answering questions that are put to you.

All I can say is depending on the outcome of tonights lynching, you may bear some real scrutiny come sun up.

I believe the "jumping" and "dart throwing" you are referring to is called bush kicking.

Unless I am mistaken that is how you gain suspects, by seeing how they respond or not to your questions.

You seem to have taken the bush kicking very hard, does it make you nervous?

(Guess John requires spoon feeding today so I've summed up the questions I have all in one list.)

How about these points then, John?

That single statement (in red) appears to be FF's real reason behind his weird posts. On this basis, I can accept that. It's a simple, straightforward answer, finally, that explains what FF was trying to accomplish (just ineffectively). I believe this is a true statement from FF. He simply wanted to somehow convince JL to back off and leave him alone. FF just didn't know how to get JL to remove his vote.

1. What's your opinion about that statement from FF as possibly being truthful. (Clicking the link will show you the text I quoted there... oh wait, you already know that. Um.. don't you? Don't you?!?!)

2. Are you so set in your stance against FF and your vote on him still that you aren't willing to consider you may be wrong? What if you are wrong, John? What will you say to us then if FF gets lynched tonight and turns up innocent townie?

3. Knowing FF's game play as well as you do, wouldn't you expect FF to stumble around awkwardly in his posts trying to defend himself against your initial vote and repeated questions? Unless he's being coached how to handle it by communicating teammate(s), of course. Did it really surprise you when FF reacted poorly in response to your posts as he did?

4. While I'm at this.... what DOES it take to get you to back off someone and leave them alone? <-- Heh. For future reference, just in case...

I agree FF makes scummy statements. I do not agree this automatically means he's scum. In his case, as usual, we need to decide whether FF posted scummy things this time because he's evil or simply because he lacks the ability to think of compelling arguments when he feels he needs to. Not an easy task for any of us to do.

After this, JL pulled FF's posts to pick them apart. Results = (1) Yup, FF said scummy things that are contradictory. Am I surprised? Nope. Does that make FF evil? Not necessarily. (2) In doing so, JL justified leaving his "joke vote" on FF instead of going somewhere else or doing much of anything else that might lead him (or us) to potential scum suspects. (3) Of course, JL has also drawn 5 other people to join him against FF with their votes.

6. Same thing, as I mentioned you there too.

Of those names, I expect someone will turn out to be mafia. JL is a good possibility for suspicion for pointing us in this direction. And JL knows FF well enough to understand that taking everything FF says literally will make him (FF) look like scum.

7. Of the folks voting FF, John... who do you feel is most scummy, least scummy?

JL... are you planning to leave your vote where it is?

8. Dang... you couldn't even answer a direct question?

There was one little naggy detail in the back of my mind when I voted Ice.. and I'm giving that a little more weight now than I did yesterday. That is..... JL has become an instigator of sorts in this game who has already (on Day 1) managed to point our focus and our votes toward 2 leading lynch candidates... first FF and then Ice. Whether this was intentional and he's giggling about this in the scum den or unintentional... wish I could tell.

9. Do you actually have a case against Ice that's NOT dependent upon FF being evil?

10. You've pushed them both at us to vote them all this time. Care to comment whether that's been deliberate or just a goof on your part?

11. Not a bad question for you to answer. What ARE your thoughts about the votes on FF today and the players behind those votes?

Later in the thread, these posts from JL...

1 - JL makes sure everyone notices a defense possibility exists of FF by Ice.

2 - Reinforces the idea that Ice may be protecting FF by claiming he's incapable of choosing decent investigations.

3 - Unrelated post where JL asks a good question I'd personally rather see him answer for us. JL's vote has stayed on FF this whole time... yet he seems to using his case against FF here to justify a spin-off case against Ice instead. Interesting that he maintains his suspicion at this point where it was on FF instead of following his own lead to vote Ice.

12. Seems you've pushed Ice as a suspect more than anyone else has in the game.... without actually voting the person you name. This tactic concerned you enough that you've called someone else out for doing it. Does that same premise NOT apply to you? If so.. why not?

13. I'd like to know what you think about each of these people who voted Ice. Scummy? Not scummy?

Tell us, John. Now that you've got the FF vs Ice race you wanted.... to show where people stand.... what do you think of it? Which players among these voters catch your fuller attention at this point?

14. After accomplishing what you hoped for and set out to make happen, aren't you proud? What has this vote split between FF vs Ice demonstrated for us, in your opinion? And was that what you expected we would learn from this?
