Best Temperature to Grow Plants at?

Why the metric system Tom? We know the metric system can be more accurate, but you live in Cali... Stop trying to be all European :) Embrace your surroundings and fall in line :) You know you want to be like everyone else...

I think 86 is pushing it. The higher the temp the slower the growth rate. High temps slow down photosynthesis and the plants metabolic rate. 70 to 75 I think over all, in general is the most ideal. Sure some plants can take colder, some hotter, but over all the affect is the same. Most plants are not that sensitive to temps, but it does alter growth.

I've had the best growth with temps in the mid 70's.

Wow, I'm happy someone finally posts a temperature I can understand and all he does is get ripped on for it. :)

And seeing as the US is one of only 2 countries stuck in the dark ages of measurement, maybe he is being like everyone else. :silly:
