One wonders if this Wiz and kashta exchange is being staged.

I think it would be nice to know the days rules but it is not worth endless thought either. As a day one topic it is better than pizza toppings.

It seems simple to me, if you are going to have different abilities or whatever from game day to game day JP will let you know. Other than that your job is to root out scum.

While that seems simple enough. I am not sure about the different abilities or whatever. I was just PM'ed my role, nothing stated it would change or I had abilities.

I vote to lynch the wizard.

Also, wiz seems to be jumping at everything that moves, creating quite the khaos, maybe this is his idea of kicking bushes, but it is silly.

The "arugements" between him and Ogre and him and Kash seem empty and pointless.

It may seem pointless to you but it beats trying to second guess the mod.

It is D1 and we don't have anything to go on. If nothing else maybe I can provide that as the day progresses.

I may have skimmed the rules but I do recall in the mafia thread when JP was laying this game out he mentioned abilities changing according to the game we are in.

How can it be simple enough, if you have only skimmed the rules.

If today's mode is 50/50 then half of the town is mafia. If today's mode is vampires, then there is a LV and maybe a turn.

I do not think it is "simple enough" at all.

Also, don't you think it is strange that FF would play invisable? He wanted to ban it from the game he moded. Then when questioned about it, it appears he went back to playing visable. I did not see FF address it. I did you see you come to his aid.

Am I going to get accused of beating up FF by asking simple questions?

That is what I asked FF about when you jumped in. Why would you jump in if you had no clue what we are talking about.

While thinking we might be able to tell which game Pappy's basing role abilities on, a few people posted suggestions (based on whichever game they had in mind). Pappy is being a stinker about this, so I figure it's better at this point not to make those assumptions or "conclude" very much from these possibilities. If we do, we're only setting ourselves up if we guess the wrong game.

So looking at that game...could we expect a "turn" on night one, since the boss can pick a person to join them?

Maybe a "shot"?

I guess the mafia can't always communicate, it is controlled by jpap.

I find it odd that FF questioned if the mafia could communicate or not. I would think it would be assumed that the mafia could communicate. This was a twist done in a recent game and there has been communicating and non-communicating mafia in the past.

OK, so have we come to the colclution that this day is based on the 50/50 game that ice modded, also known as game 63? If so can we move on to the bigger matters of the bad feeling i get when i look at the wiz/JL/HN thing?

Yes, I agree we shouldn't spend all our time running in circles around which format we are in right now. It is important to me however, especially since in that set up the mafia started with one and could send in a name to try to get on their team. What scares me a little about that is at this point I don't think the mafia can communicate, if they are starting with three does that mean each of them would get to send in a name, possibly getting 3 more on there team?

Ok, scratch that...looking more into the rules of that game, only the boss can send in a name. More then likely, they can each send in a name in hopes to find another mafia member so they can communicate. IF it is based on that game right now, I would think at this point they can not communicate with each other.

I see that others that did read the rules explained that people may not always be able to communicate. It seems kind of senseless to have that rule in place if it's not going to be used, so I would agree that communication is not possible at this time.

My opinion based on Pappy's response.... There's really no telling if the mafia can turn someone tonight... or if they're communicating or not... and so on. We'll just have to wait and see.

Why are you invisible this game?

Not saying that it means anything, and lots of folks are invisible when they play, but on multiple occasions in other games, you've complained about people being invisible, and even attempted to 'outlaw' it in the game that you modded.

Why the sudden 180?

I did miss FF's response, but here it is -

1: Wiz innocent who was a convienent choice as few people would argue with it. I cant really argue with it, just pulled up waring signs all over.

2: HN would be an innocent who accidently got pulled in, OR, HN is scum following other scum.



I swear, i skimmed the rules (never thought i would have to say that), and this game is a strange one, can be sure about anything.
