Mafia #70: The Time Vortex

That was to Zaffy, Dawg. Don't think I'll find his previous posts pulled in time before night to recheck how it was worded exactly though. It it was those comments he made previously where he hinted about knowing something or noticing something but didn't want to tell us. Said it had might expose townie PRs or something like that.

Others have already replied to the other question he asked later about code words and whether the innocents ever used them in Game 56 or not.... think that was Wizard and Noods (not time to double check that either right now so that's going by memory). I answered it too... but I've been suspicious about Zaffy because he's withholding suspicions and making it sound all dramatic or mysterious.... while not doing anything else to help us out in this game. Sounded to me like me was setting us up for a false role-claim or something later on... who knows what.

Now I just saw you reply with the same answer again and I realized that might have been the connection. If Zaffy noticed what he thought were code words from people he thinks are townies, he would wonder if that proves them scummy instead. And he wouldn't want to make a mistake about it to out them if that code word theory was wrong.

I think zaffy is just messin with us. Trying to mess with our heads. As if we need it.

That's also possible. Act like it's something then can't divulge what he meant. It's not a pro-town way to play this game.

OK that's what I figured...I just saw my post in there and was wondering.

The first night's lynching was favorable to the town...with the mafia down one early, do they have enough influence to affect the lynch?...or is the town already looking in the wrong direction?...either way, the town's choice is relatively clear...

Lady G was innocent

The mafia, excited with the lynch, quickly decide to use the time period to their advantage...they grab their victim, strap them down, and insert the needle...within seconds, the person's genes have been altered...the evil scientists have gained another member...

The town is not without help...a pair of bio engineers have come up with a serum to raise one of their own back from the dead...they decide to test it on last night's victim...lucky for them it works...

Rich is back in the game.

The disgruntled lab worker, however, is no where to be seen...

Once again the mafia decide that they have stayed their welcome in this time period...the machine is turned on and the town is whisked to another moment in time...

The year is 1692 and mass trials are occurring in every neighboring town...ACville seems to be the latest one infected with the paranoia of dark magic...those out at night claim to hear the cackling of the evils from the shadows of the forest surrounding the town...

A few of the townspeople themselves have taken to magic in order to rid the village of the madness...one, in particular, is determined to make up for what happened the previous nightfall...

GAME ON!

Nightfall will be Tuesday again at 8 PM central time.
