It's not a matter of losing 3 vs. 4, that's the outcome we got riding the safe path. Yes if people had voted the UD we might have only lost one. However if people had voted otherwise we may have hit a vamp instead of an innocent. No one knows what the outcome would have been so it's really not fair to say not voting the UD cost us an extra player.
Voting the UD gives the vamps a bit of a free ride. We don't get any info from the loss because the vamps seeing we're going for an innocent can sit back and watch, they don't tip their hand, they don't have to worry about a loss, they don't have to worry about their turn getting staked by the town. I think the three way tie would have put far more pressure on the vamps.
Even on day 1 buying time is dicey when the vamps have two potential turns, they're growing the townies are shrinking and time is not our friend. My experience with you is that your more aggressive then what we've seen from you this game and sitting back to await your faith seems out of character. I think this variant of the game requires committed action which would seem to be your forte yet you call for caution. Doesn't seem like you and doesn't seem good for the town.
I think the only people who benefited from the UD votes were the vamps. I'll leave it at one last question Ice. Do you honestly think the UD votes were not helpful to the vamps?
