FF I was on my wifes comp and it was screwing up. The part that should have been bolded was this
We also lost a team turn
Only one that lost a turn was the vamp team.
i was considering the town a team. Team Townies (TT)

you stated that you lost a team turn... Pappy was staked by the hunter and so the camps lost a team turn. What is going on there? What slip? We lost pappy-he was innocent- turned vamp-killed; we lost DD-UD; we lost User_name-Lynch; and we lost an unkown member of the townie team (tt for short)
I see no slip in that.

Now it looks like you're trying to quickly cover your tracks. This is just another slip for you.
We've played lots of games with Ice. He claimed at the start that he just didn't "feel" like playing at first and I don't buy that. Ice didn't have any hesitation pushing specific suspects our way or posting his defense of an indefensible theory. He was well enough "into" the game to lead us the wrong way. And what I think he was actually doing more than anything was lying low and biding his time to help the town as little as he possibly could.
I don't think it matters whether the outcome of our 2-horse race ends up decided by vote count or coin toss. And frankly, it really doesn't matter which one of us dies. This game isn't about any one individual player (which I pointed out to you before).... it's a team effort. The greatest benefit by doing this is it forces everyone to choose one or the other (me or Ice). And every person's vote will become part of the voting pattern record, bearing their name. Innocents will be torn and it's not easy to choose, that's understandable. But a good number of players already intend to vote me while others are voting Ice. So let's just leave this at that... then throughout the process, everyone gets to post their position. This forces the vampires (at least 3 now) to also take a position, state their reasons, and put their names on it. That is what leads us back to them whether they continue to hide out (after the staked person's role is revealed) or they'll have to defend their own. We learn something useful either way.
The other consideration here I didn't mention before (and this is where Ice will probably complain)... if both Ice and I are up for voting together, then that prevents the vampires from turning either one of us. That's what I realized yesterday when I suddenly drew so many votes just before nightfall. If the vamps intended to turn me (or kill me), those votes on me at the end of the day would have made them choose somebody else instead. Even if my turn had been successful, I was too vocal and too risky for them to want to recruit me to their side because I'm still liable to get lynched the following day. In a team building game, you avoid confrontational recruits who are likely to get themselves killed. It's smarter to recruit someone else better at sitting back and not drawing attention to themselves.
We know they turned Pappy (before the slayer got him) and we know they turned somebody else. If Ice wasn't a vampire already, he (among others) was a very good turn candidate himself.
Not understanding this Chill. How is losing 1 less innocent on Day 1 helping the vamps? Instead of losing 3 we lost 4.
I knew one day that game was going to bite me in the a$$.
I screwed up that night fall, the reasoning I gave you sounded the most legit at the time. I was just trying to save face and not have the game end because players would want to quit over the miscue.
Also show me in the order of events on that rule page where UD is....I never put UDs in the order of events...
How did this get buy anyone????? Care to explain the slip FF??
I'm on the wifes comp and its driving me crazy. Let me kick my son off mine and finishing reading ,answering, posting.
It's not a matter of losing 3 vs. 4, that's the outcome we got riding the safe path. Yes if people had voted the UD we might have only lost one. However if people had voted otherwise we may have hit a vamp instead of an innocent. No one knows what the outcome would have been so it's really not fair to say not voting the UD cost us an extra player.
Voting the UD gives the vamps a bit of a free ride. We don't get any info from the loss because the vamps seeing we're going for an innocent can sit back and watch, they don't tip their hand, they don't have to worry about a loss, they don't have to worry about their turn getting staked by the town. I think the three way tie would have put far more pressure on the vamps.
Even on day 1 buying time is dicey when the vamps have two potential turns, they're growing the townies are shrinking and time is not our friend. My experience with you is that your more aggressive then what we've seen from you this game and sitting back to await your faith seems out of character. I think this variant of the game requires committed action which would seem to be your forte yet you call for caution. Doesn't seem like you and doesn't seem good for the town.
I think the only people who benefited from the UD votes were the vamps. I'll leave it at one last question Ice. Do you honestly think the UD votes were not helpful to the vamps?
DD has 2 votes and I am considering moving my vote to her.
I don't like the express train on Kash after I voted her.
I usually frown on voting a UD but in a team building game we can lessen the number of lost innocents by taking out 1 that looks like she is going anyway.
I retract my vote for Kash and vote to stake DD
sorry Lab
