Who Says you Can't Cross a gibbiceps with a hypostomus?

Sorry to bring this back to the top but pleco on the bottom is a gibby as stated but im pretty sure the one on top is a pardalis. Both are Pterygoplichthys.
 
Could be...I bought the top one as a "common pleco"...and never really verified its identity. I'll count the dorsal rays next time it's out and verify.

Well...that kinda ruins my joke then...

Looks like 12 rays in the dorsal fin. Yep, it's definitely a Pterygoplichthys of some sort...could be a pardalis...


Good catch...nice to know what it really is.
