CP terraium - Plants only

There was a lot of great info in those links and even gave me some good ideas for the mini bog I'm planning
Sounds awesome! Can't wait to see it!

LOL... it was frustrating looking for it, but it makes finding it that much more worth while! :grinyes:

You have more patience than me to, Ger.

I was refering to you and Jpappy lol.

Oh and yes it does make the plant that much more worth while. With my Agaves I had wanted this certain Agave but couldnt find it anywhere. Well I eventually found it by accident like a month ago and bought it. Cant wait for it to grow some more. Bad thing bout Agaves is they grow so dang slow.

I love it when things fall into your lap like that! Good thing you've got all that patience to wait for it to grow! Hehe... I have to say that keeping plants has definitely started teaching me about patience.

Yes plants arent like fish that grow so fast like cichlids. They grow slow and need there special requirements. Some are easier to raise then others. Like my Agaves thrive in full sun light and are drought tollerant but if left unwatered to long will begin to wrinkle and lose its lower leaves. If there in a dark area there leaves becomes long and thin. But yeah lol. Plants can teach you to be patient.

Awesome plants JB! I'm creating a 10G paludarium and you've given me great ideas so far. How are your VFTs suriviving indoors? Im gonna try getting two sundews, 2 VFTs and maybe a Nepenthes, but it might grow too big.

Thanks, Chris! The VFT's are doing great! At this point, I would recommend against feeding them any sort of fish food... frozen blood worms totally rot the traps, and they don't respond at all to flake other than the closing mechanism. But other than my mistakes, they're growing like mad and seem very happy. I'll try to get pics up later.

There are neps that stay relatively small. The ventricosa, for instance seems to be growing way more out than up. I've read about others that stay smaller, but I can't think of the names atm. They really do come in all shapes and sizes.

I've seen the thread about your paludarium. It looks great so far. I'm really curious to see how you'll build these into it!
