I'm not taking the blame on Pappy or Zaffy the first day but you have the rest right. All I knew about either Pappy or Zaffy then was they both went after JM, my communicating and innocent teammate.
So yes, while I suspected them both for that reason... wondering if either or both were scum, I still couldn't tell yet and I voted Rocker instead. JB voted Lab Rat. Pappy died because Zaffy, Rich, and JM voted him, not me and JB. JM's vote wasn't that solid either yet at the time if I remember correctly. We were more concerned that we keep a little distance from each other. As this worked well to the wolves' advantage, nobody did anything to switch votes or anything... everyone was scattered around and Pappy was left to die by both townies and scum.
Zaffy died, though because JB and I both suspected Lab Rat and believed she had implicated him trying to defend him. We had the same reaction. He posted his thoughts in the thread about Lab at the same time I posted the same thing about her at our communicating board. Neither of us consulted each other first... before doing either. After discussing her game in more depth which has also been posted about already in this thread, we went with it. He presented his case against her, while I presented mine on Zaffy. At the time, we didn't think it mattered which was first or second, so the town could help decide that for us. This was a mistake, obviously. There was no connection between Lab Rat and Zaffy. But when you remove Zaffy from that picture altogether, the case against Lab Rat holds the same on it's own. Lab Rat's guilt or innocence was never contingent on Zaffy's role.
JB was killed by the wolves next. And, as I had just lead us the wrong way, I was left alive. This, too, only went to show the town that I was suspicious so, therefore, Lab Rat must be my target and, thus, innocent. I'm sure the wolves have been laughing at us the whole game.
What I should have done was stayed with JB on our strongest suspect... Lab Rat... regardless of the fact that it let the wolves see we were working together. Zaffy might still be alive now if I had done that.
What I'm trying to do now is not make the same mistake again. And if we decide as a town to lynch Lady G now, for example, because her suspect list is the same as Lab Rat's, then all we're doing is following the same path I helped us take to kill Zaffy... in error. Lady G may very well be and probably is an evil too. But Lab Rat is still the key, not someone else who is "may" be associated with her.
Much of the same can be said about you, as well, Chill. Frankly, I find you more suspicious right now than Lady G after looking back through the thread. But we still need to take this one step at a time. Our suspicion of Lab Rat for scummy actions, posts, arguments, behavior, and tactics is still central to anyone else. And whether her role implicates you or Lady G or piranha or anyone else, it's still Lab Rat who needs to die first before we continue investigating other possibilities.
Ice makes a good point. I'd also have to say to be most fair to everyone on both the townie side and the werewolf team, us deciding to go to 24 hours instead of 48 wasn't a good idea. This game is not cut and dried yet and our vote choices are not a done deal. Could I use more time myself? Yes, sure I could. But so could most everyone else.
We just had a 3-day weekend and most people aren't even here to discuss the game. Two or three people already told us they had to make a guess vote, that they had to go back to work today and wouldn't be here before nightfall. That has the same effect on all of us regardless of which team we're on.
Fishfriend, when Lab Rat herself asked you to stay with the 48-hour timeframe, I took advantage of her distress and disagreed, thinking she had already had enough time to refute her accusers. That wasn't really fair either if we're really being objective about this.
I would be willing to delay nightfall until tomorrow night if others agree. Dag and Lady G would then have ample opportunity to read the thread and place their votes where they really want them.
I see this benefitting everyone and disadvantaging no one.

Read my posts, Lab Rat. Do you seriously not see me admitting mistakes and trying to not repeat them?

I already altered my schedule to be around this nightfall. It was set last night, I say it stays as it is.
