Mafia #75... Assassins in the Palace - The Play

Are we allowed to vote the mod this round, for making us all go through this?
:thm:
For lack of better reasons I guess I will follow suit and vote.

I vote to lynch User

You wouldn't think he would be so quiet as the assassin but we've got nothing to go on. Guess it goes back to my "if you're not being active you may as well be dead."
:swear: Excuse me for missing a DAY! I get that there isn't a whole lot of reasons to place vote on right now, but reeaaaly....

:grinno: :silly:

Current votes:

User (3): Chill, LG, Tay
Razz (1): Rich

With 9 alive, it takes 5 votes to lynch.

:swear::swear::swear::swear:
No editing your posts MOD!

And why do people enjoy trying to lynch me so much D1?
:werd:

The only person I could put a vote on would be rich, because he is too flipping good at this game, and I can never figure out what team he is on.

So, in the event that I may became UD or just plain old lynched, I vote to lynch Rich

UD's are tied to posts this time not votes. So post 111 keeps your from UDing for 48 hours whether you voted or not.

I know, but you never know what could happen. Computer might crash, sleepovers ect.

As of now only two things strike my mind as being off. FF seems to be quite impulsive but from what it sounds, you guys seem to think that's normal. Chill announcing that he's going to play his more regular self as to not be found suspicious. That's my interpretation of it at least. I'm not saying either of these people are or aren't scum, but there isn't much to take notes on as of yet.

Good points but it also points to a common Mafia occurance that those who talk the most are usually suspected the most. It is good that you are keeping your eyes open.

Better to draw attention to yourself than to your king. Any loyal guard puts the king's life above their own.

Very true. We also need to be careful not to put too many (if any) lists out there and be selective with our voting. Remember that the assassin knows what we all are just not who the king is. If we put all our votes out there and spread them around we are essentially making a list for the assassin of who is not the King.

I am going back to read the old game to see how we won that one. It would help if others did the same.

How could you vote for a guy named Richard in a game about kings? Richard III is rolling over in his crypt right now. :)

no he would be honored to know that such a good player would carry on his name.

Besides, my viking blood doesn't honor your kings... :headbang2:

This is more what I was trying to say but I couldn't say it as well so here's a quote from the last game which I am in agreement with...

The way I see it, we have the advantage here. We (the guards), all know who the king is. The fact that there is a vast majority of us means that the king is in no danger of being lynched. The only people the assassin can trick the rest of us into killing are guards. Since we all agreed to die for the king when we took the job, means that it doesn't matter if we get tricked, as long as we don't do something to give the king away: like never voting for him.

What I'm trying to say is appropriately placed votes and retractions for the king may actually be a clever way to help shield that person. I will not suspect anyone for voting for the king.

I don't have a strategy yet for figuring out who is the assassin. For now, I'm going to observe and put stuff out there when I see it.
