Water changes

dont mind them. gives me time to rearrange things see what is really happening in there... i dont change to often though. 20% every couple weeks, but im heavily planted and not overstocked at all

Water changes are a never ending battle for me. I've gotten in the habit of doing one a day since my schedule doesn't allow me to knock them all out... However, I do enjoy how some of my fish (platys especially) will try and nibble on my hand when I first stick it in with the gravel vac. I consider them thank you kisses :)

IM A BREEDER SO IT'S NOT A QUESTION IF I LIKE OR DISLIKE DOING WATER CHANGES BUT A NECESSARY EVIL TO RAISE HEALTHY FRY INTO ADULTHOOD.

Now that I use Pythons and Maxi-Jet pumps, I enjoy doing WCs.

OH REALLY? TELL ME MORE.

:silly:

I like to do a water change (50% weekly because I dose EI) but if I am feeling lazy... I just drink a big cup of coffee, and pump the caffeine until I shake like this guy :headbang2: and then it's fine .

I consider water changes a chore. Even with a python.
