Tank advice needed!!!!

Hi all!!!

Well, let me tell you!!!! Some of you have read my earlier posts about my uncle giving me his 100 gallon. That is still happening and it will be a rainbow tank!!:headbang2: BUT, I have a friend that is getting rid of his 125 gallon and his 100 gallon, and everything that goes with them!! The 125 has 5 peacock cichlids, a red pike, a royal pleco and a catfish I cannot remember the name of. So, I am going to be the owner of cichlids!!! The 100 gallon is empty and I don't know what I will put in it yet!! I am very excited and thought I would share this great news!!!:grinyes:

Anyone know much about peacocks?? I know some, but you just can't get the kind of advice I want from anywhere but AC!! Thanks guys!!!!:thumbsup::worthy::thm::dance:

I generally trust this site. Just be careful with the cookie cutter recommendations since they tend to overstock.

Wow... Yeah I know nothing about cichlids, but wow! Very envious! I'm wondering if your catfish is a synodontis? And yay for adopting a pleco! I dream of owning a gold nugget one day (so pretty), but would be content with Flash Plecs.

Anyway, perhaps you can put up a thread in the cichlids section? Wow, looking forward to pics!

Thanks fishycat, pics will be posted around the 10th of sept, that is when they are being moved over here!! I didn't know there was a cichlid section lol, I will definitely post there!! I wanted a gold nugget so bad, but the sailfin pleco is so pretty, I am so happy he is mine!! I will try to get over there and get some good shots of the tanks before they are moved over, so I will take a pic of the cat then for id. Thanks!!

I wish someone would give me a frikin 125 gallon tank lol. I've had to buy all of my tanks. Thankfully they were good deals on craigsbay.
