My 180g African cichlid tank. Running 30g wet dry filter. Duel hose CPR 1200gph overflow, 1200gph mag drive return pump. 400w heater, u.v. Sterilizer, vortech mp40 powerhead, reef keeper controller with. Temp controll and p.h. Probe. Aragonite substrate, 440. Vho light with a icecap 660 ballast. And a 30g auto top off

I had to cut and paste your youtube name into youtube to see the vid, but very nice!! What all kinds of cichlids do you have, how big will they get?

Thanks, they are just a mix of Africans. They will get about 4 in.

Actually some of those will get a lot bigger. In fact pretty much all of them will exceed 4 inches. It's a large tank so it's fine.
Those venustrus will get to be 10 inches and I thought I saw an electric blue hap which will get to be around 7 inches. The rest seem to be a mi of red zebras and cobalt zebras, both get to be around 5-6 inches. I did see some auratus in there so watch out for those guys. They can be super aggressive and start killing off tankmates. Finally I saw a few yellow labs and they are fantastic. It's a mix that's prone to a lot of cross breeding but that's fine.
Just beware about the dietary differences for the haps and mbuna. Haps need more meaty foods but mbuna can die if they eat too many meaty foods.

Cool video, but your tank could use plants. I'm not sure how your chiclids would do with them though, because my south americans enjoyed eating them.
