Back to poo, if your only feeding veggies & only counting ammonia as "bioload", then you're right, happypoet. But I still will count shrimp toward my bioload & vac out poo.

My shrimp are omnivores. Last night I gave zucchini & flake & 1 shrimp sat on the veg while eating a flake. Probably pooing both fiber & ammonia, she looked quite pleased with her good fortune.

ummmm - there are too many variables that will decide bioload impact on the aqua system. Good luck in finding an answer that solves your suppositions.
