I answered his question as best I could...he asked me what my motivation for voting JL was out of my narrowed options and I said once again, no real reason, just a shot in the dark.

I'll go back and re-read your reasoning for not suspecting JL any longer.

I also don't see where UN should be cleared Rich. Not in my mind he isn't.

I do however like the fact that JL & Jpap's votes were on Razz. That alone doesn't clear them, but with this amount of players I like the odds that they wouldn't intentionally kill off a teammate.
It also would have been very easy for either one to move and save him.

I understand what you are saying here. A move at the last minute like that would like highly suspect. My thought was that its possible that they voted for each other with the hope that if by chance one of them was killed, it would clear the other one at least for a few nightfalls. It is a risky move though for the evil team on the first nightfall of the game.

I do not think saving oneself is a scum move. Also if you already suspect one of the other players, then why not switch to a different suspect.

More often than not an innocent player has made a move to save themselves compared to scum.

Also look at the odds, lets say both UN and Razz were scum. If UN went to Razz, then they would have had a 100% chance of losing a team member. If they let it go to a three way tie - then it would be a 67% chance of losing a teamate. Much better to take a chance.

What is odd to me is that UN had claimed my vote on Razz was day one distancing. Seems to me that UN thought Razz and I were both scum, but now wants to claim the they felt Razz was innocent - which is the only way to explain the non-vote.

What is also odd to me is that I had gotten the impression that UN was an active player. I have not seen it.

Once again I fail to see how it is anything but random since you have no apparent reason why you chose JL for your vote. Makes me question if you really had a choice.

Claiming self preservation almost 6 hours before nightfall when 4 people have yet to vote AND the leading vote getter has a whopping 2 whole votes is a bunch of hooey to me.

UN is generally a very active player JL and his absence today is interesting. I've seen him posting on other threads but seems have to avoided this one. he seems to be trying harder than ever to stay out of sight now that there are questions directed to him about his actions last nightfall.

I vote to genetically test UN

Fair enough....at that point I knew there was probably a good chance I wouldn't get back on the computer that night, so I had to make a decision with what was in front of me. I wasn't willing to leave it to good faith that I'd be safe with the remaining votes to be cast.

And yes, the vote on JL was completely random after narrowing the field down to those who had at least one vote on them I stated that at the time and several times after the fact...not exactly a big secret.

Everyone who says that my game play is off is crazy, I always post a lot sporadically. Your right I did kind of forget about the thread theres just been a lot going on lately fish and life wise.

After reading through the thread some more, it appears that UN is normally a very active player. I have asked some pretty direct questions, plus UN has some questions from day one asked by others that have not been answered.

How can you expect me to answer questions at 2 in the morning on a school night? I'm sorry, but I have too much going on to skip out on sleep for mafia. You consistenly barrage the thread with questions against me that you reword and rehash to a complete anti- UN post which isn't very pro-town. If you wanted to help the town out, then you could post actual evidence instead of smearing my reputation.

Okay, one more post to get my count up...

As far as how many scum is there.

Here JL turns something accused against him into a joke, could just be his playstyle but it ussually indicates something to hide. By posting at 2 am in a fairly unactive game you sure do care about this too much to joke post and such.

Note the part that UN bolded. I did not ask the scum team how many scum there was. I asked Razz. Who did turn out to be scum, but was not known to the town as scum. The only people that KNEW Razz was on the scum team would be the scum team.

So UN, is there two of you left?

BS and you know it. I was refering to how you were calling him scum, and you rehashed it completely against me.

I vote to genetically test JL I hate to get OMGUS but his style of play doesn't help the town, and all he has done is smear dirt onto whoever is on the chopping block.

As for the clearing of me by LG and rich, I really don't see myself in the clear at all. Looking back I could see how not switching could be interpreted as scum, but it honestly never occured to me to switch my vote during those last few minutes of nightfall. When I find scum I stay there, and I had no reason to believe that raz was evil. My thought process was that maybe he made a mistake, and I've seen way too many innocent D1 lynchings of a mistake.

Sorry for my absence here guys, its been kind of a long and rough weekend for a variety of reasons. I'm getting caught up now, I should have more time to participate during the week.

My first thought coming into this game was going with a JL-style completely random vote on the first day, but now I'm questioning that logic since, like everyone has already said, if we slip on on the first night, that could very easily make or break the game.

I vote to test JohnLarson, and no I don't have a solid reason why, other than self-preservation for the sake of the town. If I get a better reason to vote for anyone else, I'll change it.

When I read this I immediately thought you were only voting to have a vote so you didn't UD. That is why I questioned it in the first place and you went on about saving yourself from a lynch that was far from guaranteed.

That is why I questioned what you said and tried to get a clarification. You didn't exactly outline your entire thought process in the post above. And I still don't like how you so easily voted JL just because and not Razz. Random votes never sit right with me.
