Used Coralife F/W T-5 Aqualight Double Strip Light-30" - Bulbs have been in use for 4 months. Includes 1 Colormax bulb and 1 6700K bulb, 18 watts each. This is a T5NO fixture. $35 Pickup in Los Angeles or Irvine/Newport Beach.

I also have some new 30" T5HO Coralife bulbs (31 Watts each) if any reefers are interested. These cannot be used on the fixture above. Actinic and the 10,000K bulb for $10.

hey idex, I have the same 30" T5 lighting fixture. Have you ever successfully taken out the bulbs on this fixture? One of mine went out a while ago, but I can't get it out because there's no space to grib around the bulbs. They are too tightly placed.. I'm considering just breaking one of the bulbs to take it out at this point.

Never tried it. I'll take a look tonight and report back.

:naughty: I replaced this with the HO version... currently just using a single bulb.

The one currently sold is great for a 20g long. I had a great amount of growth of plants in my 20g long with this lighting. I read a review somewhere that it's even good for a 29g. I have a HO version from AquaticLife on a 29g, and that thing is giving me a lot of algae, lol!

Yeah let me know. I can't get it out of there for the life of me, and my fingers aren't bigger than normal!

I can't fit my fingers in either, but you just need to have enough friction to turn the tube (I just used my thumb) and then you can pop them out. Either that or try some needlenose pliers on the ends of the tube to twist it.

Good Luck
