What's the problem with Christopher Colombus?

Not a whole lot going on except that I see FF is speculating about who the President is. Even though it is in a hypothetical conversation it doesn't seem like something an innocent would or should be doing.
For now...I vote to lynch FF
(It just comes so natural to me to type that)

No that's just an old Rodney Dangerfield joke.
I meant why don't they teach about him?
I immediately wrote myself off as not playing this game when Ice posted the sign up. I remembered the format because I enjoyed it which is ultimately why I did join. I didn't look at the sign up rules and the rules in this game thread do not indicate what the split is...
Has Ice even said that it did end up being an even split? It would be odd for him not to mention that he changed it from the sign up but at the same time he apparently did change the type up of the rules.
Ice, can you clarify that "half" the players are rebels?

This is true, but I know when I was in lower grades we still learned about him, we colored pictures, sang songs and talked about him at least. He also set out to prove the world wasn't flat, if he has a holiday and some schools are out on that day I think they could at least discuss him. They do, just not in the lower grade/schools. After all, he was neither the first not the best discoverer of the Americas. All the way till he died he thought he had found India, thats where the term "Indians" comes from. And he wasn't the first person to arrive in America, not even close.
