Just from my experience I would say definitely spend a little extra money (if you have it) on a quality needle valve, it will make a big difference.
May as while chime in to say I've been VERY happy with my Sumo regulator. Accurate and dependable.

i would say that the 'next step' is really a lower end regulator with a Fabco-Air NV-55 Needle Valve.
and longevity.
most of your co2 equipment should be considered a once in a lifetime purchase. getting quality stuff the first time will really help ensure that it is.

have you had any problem with that milwaukee regulator? I'm going to go pressurize soon and will be assembling the pieces.
So far, I will get the milwaukee regulator with the fabco needle. How are you running the output? Into a regulator or what?
