Hello everyone,

As I move into the final stages of going pressurized co2, I am in need of a few more items to make the setup complete.

I am in need of tubing... Iv read that silicone tubing that we normally use is not the best to keep co2 from escaping.

Are there any co2 proof tubing out there that will keep the co2 from slipping out?

Also, I am in need of a glass diffuser. I see them on ebay but their all from Asia. Are those any good?

And what about co2 reactors? what do you guys think of those? I have read that they do a good job in dissolving the co2 in the water.

Anyway, I am open to suggestions. Links would be appreciated :)

Thanks!!!

personally i like the reactors better. most of mine i use the output of the filter or input. also use power heads to break some up too.

I like Tygon Lab tubing. It stays soft and pliable for a long time. It doesn't turn white or yellow like some CO2 tubing does.

Tygon Lab comes in many sizes. I use the 1/8" ID x 1/4" OD that has a 1/16" wall thickness (57105).

GLA has a good selection of diffusers: http://greenleafaquariums.com/co2-diffusers.html

For a reactor style of diffuser, that a look at GLA's CAL AQUA inline diffuser/reactors. They come in two sizes for 13 and 17 mm tubing.

There are many choices here ,,,, Rex style, AM 1000 and more. Lots of links and info to research here.

Anyway, I am open to suggestions.
Take a look at "misting." A lot of folks like this method too. Tom Barr (planibrain), Orlando and others like this method.

I bought a co2 reactor 1000 and it sits in the closet. I use a hot mag 250 on my 125. I also use my sunsun on my 72.

I just run the Co2 tubing into my intake of my filter, it seems to work really well, pretty much no micro bubbles and no increase in noise from my filters. This way there is no need to purchase anything in addition.
